DE-CIX New York: New enabled site at Iron Mountain data center

We are extending out footprint in the New York metropolitan area and are happy to announce a new enabled site at the Iron Mountain’s NJE-1 data center in Edison, New Jersey. Iron Mountain’s customers now have a direct access to our platform and a variety of interconnection services, including access to multiple cloud service providers, and remote peering at many of our other Internet Exchanges.

Powered by renewable energy

The NJE-10 data center is carrier and cloud neutral, and with over 18,000 solar modules on its rooftop, it has the largest rooftop solar installation of any data center in North America, generating 7.2MW of renewable power.

Part of the largest interconnection ecosystem in North America

DE-CIX New York is the 5th largest Internet Exchange in the US, and the number one in the Northeast, connecting more than 250 networks. In November, DE-CIX New York recorded a new peak traffic record of 844 Gigabits per second (Gbps). Together, the DE-CIX Internet Exchanges in the USA create the largest carrier and data center neutral interconnection ecosystem in North America.
