At the beginning of April, we did not want the current situation and cancelled events prevent us from connecting with the interconnection community and therefore, we held our very first Virtual Get-together.
More than 200 participants from all over the world joined us to discuss infrastructure challenges during the Covid-19 crisis and to hear Ivo Ivanov, CEO DE-CIX International, Thomas King, CTO, and Christoph Dietzel, Global Head of Products & Research, to give an update on DE-CIX and future developments.
It was great to see how many questions came up and how interactive the session was; our thank-you’s go to all the participants for making it such a great community event.

We are hosting another Virtual Get-together on 22 April at 10am CEST to discuss infrastructure challenges in exceptional times like these. In this event, we will focus on the Middle East and Asia.
