We hope you had a chance to be one of the people from all over the world who joined us on 26 June to celebrate 25 years of interconnection. The DE-CIX Virtual Anniversary Show took us on an interactive journey around the world, exploring the history and the future of the Internet, and featuring interviews with customers, partners, and employees, as well as a collection of DE-CIX socks.
25 years of DE-CIX: What a show
One of the highlights of the show was a message from Vint Cerf, one of the fathers of the Internet. People also shared their favourite gadgets from the past on Twitter and danced the night away with our DJ playing songs from the past.

TechMeeting 2020 online edition
We also held our annual TechMeeting last week. We had two separate sessions and had over 200 participants joining us over two days. Topics ranged from our new customer portal and BGP to cloud and impact of Covid-19 on running networks.

The celebrations continue
The show might be over but the celebration of the past, the present, and the future of the Internet continues on our anniversary website.
