The strategy behind strategic cloud adoption

The cloud has become essential to the smooth running of any modern businesses. In addition to speed and scalability, it also allows businesses to connect with the latest AI and analytics tools and capabilities, and to implement strong disaster recovery and business continuity plans. 

A cloud strategy is different from a cloud implementation plan, the latter offering the “how” rather than the “what” and “why” questions: A cloud strategy documents the high-level direction of cloud implementations at your organization.

If you have adopted a multi-cloud approach, the sooner you establish a cloud strategy the more likely you’ll be to anticipate the benefits as well as the downsides of cloud use in your organization – and to communicate these with senior management and key decision makers.
