With almost 30 years of experience, and with hard and relentless work we have build the world’s leading carrier and data center neutral IX operator.[1]  All of the world’s largest networks trust us to handle their traffic in as many as 50 locations around the world. Our largest IX serves more than 1000 customers, and in total we have customers from almost 100 countries around the world. In many of the markets served by DE-CIX we are the market leader – this includes Asia's largest IX located in Mumbai, DE-CIX Mumbai.

DE-CIX grows alongside our largest customers, such as Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, and Google. Today in Jakarta, many hundreds of megawatts of data center capacities are under development, creating a foundation for more OTTs, CDNs and hyperscalers to arrive in Indonesia.

By 2025, we expect the top 20-30 content providers to establish a presence in Jakarta. However, many networks will continue to serve the region from Singapore as the most relevant global hub. DE-CIX Academy

With decades of experience, a lot of knowledge is available at DE-CIX and not only about the technology needed to run Internet Exchange platforms, but also about everything that touches our main goal: Making interconnection easy. Anywhere.

DE-CIX Academy is our way of sharing this knowledge – to assist customers, network operators, and anyone who is interested in increasing their knowledge and getting the most out of our interconnection services.

We already have a vast selection of webinars and tutorials available. While our content is primarily in English, we will start to provide select content with Indonesian subtitles. If you are interested in setting up peering, get in-depth understanding on BGP, or how to use DE-CIX’ Blackholing tool – we have already produced all relevant information for you.

Interconnection Academy

In addition to our own academy resources, we have inked a partnership with The Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) which is a Barcelona public research university founded in 1990. Together with UPF we have formed the Interconnection Academic Program.

The idea behind this partnership is to have lessons which could be brought to individuals through an actual course held at the University or online.
