DE-CIX Malaysia has received an award in the Internet Exchange Expansion & Innovation category at the W.Media’s inaugural APAC cloud & data center awards. The award ceremony was held end of November in Singapore.
There are various categories for the awards and the judges were looking for projects, teams, and individuals who have been excellent in innovation and leadership. W.Media is a technology publishing company with a goal to foster community and forge connections within Asia’s cloud and data center industry.
Internet Exchanges in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru
In partnership with the local Malaysian Internet Exchange provider JBIX, DE-CIX currently operates two Internet Exchanges in Malaysia – in Kuala Lumpur and in Johor Bahru. The Malaysian Internet Exchanges are part of the interconnected ecosystem of DE-CIX Asia, connecting 50 networks and providing access to cloud service providers.
