The best Internet Exchange: DE-CIX wins at the Global Carrier Awards 2021
The Global Carrier awards were held last night as part of the Capacity Europe 2021 event. And we are happy to announce that for the 6th time, we have won the Best Internet Exchange award.

We would like to thank our customers and partners for their trust and support, as well as our great DE-CIX team! All of you have helped to make DE-CIX one of the leading Internet Exchanges in the world and home to the largest neutral interconnection ecosystem on the planet.
We were also awarded in the Best Marketing Campaign category for our 25-years anniversary campaign “Without You”. The campaign promoted the digital infrastructure providers who have made the Internet what it is today, and told the story of how the Internet developed and continues to evolve.
A true mark of excellence
With over 110 shortlisted entries in 34 categories, the Global Carrier Awards continue to be a true mark of excellence across the global data center and Internet Exchange market. The awards are judged by a panel of telecoms analysts, industry experts, and the senior editorial team of the Capacity magazine. The Capacity Europe event is Europe’s largest annual meeting for the global carrier community. After last year’s virtual event, the hybrid event took place in London.
