We have expanded our existing presence within the NTT Global Data Centers Frankfurt 1 data center due to the increasing demand for interconnection services – and to accommodate future demand.
The new point of presence (PoP) enhances our existing successful relationship with NTT Global Data Centers. NTT are a strong data center partner of DE-CIX – and with the expanded partnership, we can create greater value, more benefits, and an easy connectivity experience for our customers.
Multiple connections to the core of the platform
The new active edge switch has multiple redundant connections to the core of the platform. Currently spread over more than 30 data centres in the Frankfurt metro region, the technical infrastructure has a total capacity of 48 Terabits. Currently, almost 1,000 national and international customers rely on the DE-CIX services in Frankfurt.
